In a January 2015 presentation to the Massachusetts Municipal Association, Mashpee’s Assistant Town Manager listed “1.83 MW of ground mounted solar” and “350 kW of roof mounted solar, across 4 buildings”. Those are 2015 Town-reported figures, and they may have changed. The Mashpee Public Library’s building page says the library’s solar energy system helps fuel the building. In December 2019, Cape Cod Online News reported that selectmen approved a power purchase agreement for solar panels at the public schools.
