Before and after holiday lighting installation by Clearly Amazing

Crews from our Hyannis office install holiday lighting on Harwich homes and businesses. The professional-grade LEDs come in white or multicolor, get cut to follow the rooflines and use weather-rated connections. Clips hold everything, with no nails or screws. The lease runs by the season, the lights always remain ours, and storage between seasons is on us.

Christmas in Harwich in the news

The Cape Cod Chronicle’s recap of December 12, 2024 says “The tree lighting ceremony, where caroling was led by the Harwich Elementary School chorus, drew a crowd.” Its December 3, 2025 preview of the Christmas in Harwich weekend says the seven Christmas trees in the seven villages of Harwich would be lit that Friday evening. Those are the newspaper’s accounts, not ours.

Harwich’s outdoor lighting bylaw

An archived October 2014 copy of Harwich’s Outdoor Lighting zoning article exempts “Outdoor temporary holiday lighting, provided it is illuminated only during traditional holiday periods.” from “the specific requirements of this bylaw”. The article does not define those periods.

Around Pleasant Lake and Cape Tech

The Town’s open space plan says the Pleasant Lake General Store “has been the commercial area and centerpiece of the village for over a century”. Cape Cod Regional Technical High School, it says, is “located in the village of Pleasant Lake on approximately 67 acres of Pleasant Lake Avenue”. The plan mentions Hinckley’s Pond and its beach. It also mentions the town beaches on Long Pond Drive and Cahoon Road. Holiday lighting estimates cover homes and businesses throughout Harwich, the village of Pleasant Lake included.

Harwich holiday lighting questions

Will I own the lights?

No. They remain ours, and the lease is by the season.

Can a business get lights too?

Yes, along with homes.

Who hangs the lights, and what protects the customer?

Our crews are our own employees. General liability applies to installs, workers’ compensation does too, and a certificate can be had on request.
