How Fort Myers lit up recent seasons
Writing in Florida Weekly in December 2025, the director of the City of Fort Myers Parks & Recreation Department described the season like this: “Lights wrap around palm trees, shimmer along our streets…”
The city’s own calendar from the last two seasons gives a sense of it. The 2024 Downtown Tree Lighting was listed for Friday, November 29, at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center, and the listing invited visitors to stroll downtown past storefront decorations designed by the Ft Myers Women’s Club through January 2. In 2025 the calendar listed the 19th annual Festival of Trees at the same arts center from December 4 to 7, with a Giant Wreath Lighting on its front steps on December 5. Miracle on Broadway at the Skatium was listed for that same evening.
The calendar also carried Holiday Nights at the Edison and Ford Winter Estates, a museum event whose 2025–26 run, from November 28 to January 4, was billed as the 50th annual Historic Holiday Celebration, promising “Thousands of lights…” The parks director’s column pointed to one more that year: So Winter Wonderland at Roberto Clemente Park on December 6, presented by the Lee County Black History Society, with a tree lighting, a visit from Santa and a snow play zone. Getting your house lit on time
The ideal time to book is in the fall, so your lights are up by the start of the holiday season. Installation continues into December, though, so a later call can still get the house lit for the holidays.
For planning, NOAA’s 1991–2020 normals for Fort Myers Page Field put November at 1.78 inches of rain and December at 1.90, compared with 9.00 to 10.43 inches in each month from June through September.

How we work
Estimate. It starts with a free on-site estimate.
Install. Professional-grade LED strands are cut to your rooflines and attached with clips, so nothing is nailed or screwed into the house, and the connections are weather-rated.
Service and takedown. Should a strand or part of the display go dark mid-season, we come back out and repair it. After the holidays, the display comes down and goes into our storage until next season.
If you hang some lights yourself
If you add your own strands to a porch rail or a potted palm, the U.S. Fire Administration’s holiday fire-safety guidance says to inspect holiday lights each year before putting them up, throw away any strand with frayed or pinched wires, and follow the manufacturer’s instructions on how many strands can be connected.

Yes. Our crews are our own employees, and general liability as well as workers’ compensation coverage applies to each crew.
