Holiday lighting: Grand Blanc, Fenton and Crossroads Village events

Grand Blanc Charter Township scheduled its 7th annual Holiday Tree Lighting for Friday, December 5, 2025, at Creasey Bicentennial Park on East Grand Blanc Road. The Township’s listing invited people to stroll over a mile of lighted trails, visit with Santa and warm up around fire pits, and said the event was free and open to the public. Ahead of the 2023 lighting, the Grand Blanc View reported that more than 1 million lights and displays were expected to line the park’s one-mile trail. A year later, the Township’s parks department told the Genesee County View that the trails would have new colors and animated displays.

The City of Grand Blanc is a separate government from the Township. Its calendar listed the 2024 Winterfest in Physicians Park for Thursday, December 5, from 5 to 7 p.m., and the Grand Blanc View’s preview said the park would be filled with thousands of festive light displays, with the annual tree lighting as a highlight.

In Fenton, the City’s calendar listed a Holiday Lights Tour with the Beautification Commission for Friday, December 6, 2024, encouraged all residents to decorate, and said two Beautification Awards were up for grabs. The Fenton and Linden Regional Chamber of Commerce lists Jinglefest for December 5, 2026, with a holiday lighted parade starting at 6 in the evening, then a community tree lighting and fireworks.

Genesee County Parks lists Christmas at Crossroads, at Crossroads Village near Flint, for November 27 through December 27, with a tree lighting ceremony and a fireworks show on opening night.

What the service includes

Estimate, then install. The estimate is free and done at the property. Each LED run is cut to the roofline it follows and fastened with clips, so nothing is nailed or screwed in, and the connections are weather-rated.

Mid-season repairs. If a strand, or a whole section of the display, goes dark partway through the season, call us and we’ll send someone back to fix it.

Takedown and storage. When the season is over, the crew takes the display down. The lights come back to us, and we store them until next season.

Holiday lighting installation: Grand Blanc and nearby towns

We hang lights on both sides of the City–Township line, and in Fenton, Goodrich and Clarkston. Tell us the address and we’ll confirm a crew can get there.

If you hang some lights yourself

In its 2015 holiday tips, Consumers Energy said to use only lights and power strips approved for outdoor use, and to inspect strands for frayed wires or broken sockets and test each string before hanging it. The same release said to keep electrical connections off the ground and wiring clear of downspouts, railings and aluminum siding. Separately, Consumers Energy’s tree-safety page says never to let a ladder touch a power line.
