The Millpond and the City’s parks
Gutter cleaning covers the whole city, the streets around the Millpond included. The City describes Millpond Park as “a 4-acre park next to the Fenton City Hall on the Shiawassee River.” Rackham Park, its page says, is on the river behind the Fenton Community Center at 150 S Leroy Street. A City page about O’Donnell Park invites visitors to “enjoy the beauty of a sunrise on the Millpond”, and places that park at the corner of East Street and East Ellen Street. Strom Park is on South East Street near the East Street Bridge. Bush Park has entrances at the east end of Jefferson Street and on N Leroy Street at Fifth Street.
The City’s Master Plan lists “many prominent natural features such as the Shiawassee River”. The river “flows over a dam through the park in the center of town.”

A Michigan State Police line on gutters
The Michigan State Police’s MIREADY page on preventing roof ice dams, read from an archived copy dated January 2026, lists this step among its ways to reduce the likelihood of an ice dam forming: “Thoroughly clean all leaves, sticks, and other debris from rain gutters and down spouts.” It is a statewide winter-preparedness page, not a Fenton one.
