Holiday Lighting in Carlsbad, CA

In Carlsbad, our crews put up holiday lighting for homes and businesses. Choose white or multicolor professional-grade LEDs, cut to follow the rooflines. Everything is clipped on, with nothing nailed or screwed into the building, and the connections are weather-rated. The lights are leased, so they remain ours and the charge is per season.

Holiday at the Rancho, as the City lists it

The City’s Parks & Recreation page lists Holiday at the Rancho for “Saturday, Dec. 5, 2026”, from 5 to 8 pm, at Leo Carrillo Ranch Historical Park, 6200 Flying Leo Carrillo Lane. It says “Explore Leo Carrillo Ranch decorated with festive lights, holiday décor and live musical performances” and lists a holiday tree lighting at 6 pm. The City’s December calendar also lists Holiday at the Rancho on the 5th. Those are the City’s listings, not ours.

Seasonal lighting in a specific plan

The City’s Carlsbad Ranch Specific Plan says “The private segment of LEGO Drive may be designed to accommodate seasonal lighting (e.g. Christmas, etc.).” That is a street-design line for one plan area, and not a rule about anyone’s lights.

Fire Department holiday safety tips

A December 2022 City Fire Department post on holiday fire safety says to “Avoid using metal ladders near power lines or exposed energized electrical equipment.” The tips are general and name no company.

Agua Hedionda, Cannon Road and Buena Vista

The Agua Hedionda Lagoon Discovery Center is at 1580 Cannon Road, and the City says the lagoon “is connected to the Pacific Ocean between Tamarack Avenue and Cannon Road”. Cannon Park is at the corner of Carlsbad Boulevard and Cannon Road. Buena Vista Reservoir Park is listed at 1605 Buena Vista Way, Maxton Brown Park at the corner of Laguna Drive and State Street, and Hosp Grove Park at Jefferson Street and Marron Road. The Carlsbad City Library Learning Center is at 3368 Eureka Place.

Install. Our installs continue through December.

Upkeep. Mid-season, a strand or section that goes dark brings the crew back to fix it. After the season we take them down, and they go into our storage.
