Old West Side, Old Fourth Ward and Burns Park

The City’s historic-preservation pages name the Old West Side, Old Fourth Ward, Division Street and Northern Brewery Historic Districts. In the City’s words, “Downtown Ann Arbor contains several historic districts. These include the Main Street, East Liberty, East William, Fourth/Ann, and State Street Historic Districts.” Of Wurster Park the City writes “close to downtown Ann Arbor, in the Old West Side neighborhood”, and Burns Park is called “a large 15 acre neighborhood park located just south of central Ann Arbor”. A City page mentions “Rose Avenue inside of the Lower Burns Park neighborhood”. Wurster Park is at 525 West Madison Street. Burns Park is at 1300 Baldwin Avenue. Belize Park, at 742 Fountain Street, is on the corner of Fountain Street and West Summit Street, in the area the City says is “now commonly known as Water Hill”.
