Holiday Lighting Installation in Milwaukie, OR
RESIDENTIAL SERVICES

Clearly Amazing installs holiday lights on homes and businesses in Milwaukie, with crews driving over from our Portland / Tigard office. Professional-grade LED goes up in white or multicolor, and the lights are cut to fit the roofline. Clips hold everything, so nothing gets nailed or screwed in. The lights are leased season by season and never change hands, and we keep them in storage when the season ends. The connections are weather-rated.

The Christmas Ships dates the organizer lists for Milwaukie
The Christmas Ships organizer’s Parade Schedule says “The 2025 Parade Season has concluded.” It lists four 2026 Willamette Fleet runs from Riverplace Marina to Milwaukie: Tuesday, December 8; Friday, December 11, which also goes to the Oregon Yacht Club; Tuesday, December 15; and Thursday, December 17. The same page carried a notice that the parades on both rivers were cancelled on December 19, 2025 because of debris in the water, so the dates are the organizer’s to confirm.
The City’s own Winter Solstice page, in the copy the Internet Archive saved in August 2026, still shows 2025 information: an event “at Milwaukie Bay Park” on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The City calls it “an annual celebration.” The City’s page lists no 2026 date, and the organizer’s 2026 runs are a separate listing.

The Umbrella Parade and tree lighting at historic city hall
The City’s Umbrella Parade & Tree Lighting page, in the copy the Internet Archive saved in July 2025, invited readers to “Join the Milwaukie holiday tradition of decorating umbrellas and parading through downtown ending with the lighting of the tree” on Saturday, December 6, 2025. The page listed the parade beginning at 4:30 pm and the tree lit around 5:15 pm, and said those details were what the event “has typically included.” A City volunteer posting for the 2025 edition called it “the city’s annual winter kickoff” and gave December 6, 2025 as the date. Those City pages list no 2026 date for it.
The City’s page placed the tree lighting at historic city hall, which the National Park Service’s weekly list dated September 18, 2026 shows as listed in the National Register of Historic Places on 9/11/2026. The Rotary Club of Milwaukie’s own post says its members “volunteer to pass out hot cocoa, cider and donuts” at the parade. The parade and tree lighting are the City’s, and none of it is ours.
Downtown’s Lights Walk of art installations
The Downtown Alliance of Milwaukie’s page for the 2025-2026 season says “Milwaukie Lights Walk is an annual community event that transforms our downtown streets into an immersive winter lights art walk.” The City’s April 21, 2026 memo to Council says the Alliance “has launched the Milwaukie Lights Walk installations.” It is an art walk, and it is not ours.
Holiday and seasonal wording in the City’s code pages
Chapter 19.300 of the Municipal Code, in the edition headed 2025-07-08 that the Internet Archive saved in August 2025, does not use the words holiday or seasonal. The City’s Code Compliance FAQ page, in the copy the Internet Archive saved in February 2026, does not mention holiday or seasonal lights either. Later editions are the City’s to provide.
Power lines and outdoor cords, from PGE
Portland General Electric’s Outdoor Safety page, in the Internet Archive’s July 2026 capture, tells readers to keep a distance of “at least 20 feet away from power lines” for themselves and their equipment. It also calls for extension cords that are “heavy-duty, grounded, three-pronged” and “rated for outdoor use.” The City’s March 2023 climate report names PGE as the local electric utility. The page is general outdoor safety guidance, not a holiday page, and the wording is PGE’s.
