Before and after holiday lighting installation by Clearly Amazing

Clearly Amazing hangs holiday lighting on Ridgefield homes and businesses, with crews coming from our Vancouver office. The LED is professional grade, white or multicolor, and every run is cut to the rooflines it follows and held on by clips alone. The connections are weather-rated. Lights are leased a season at a time and stay ours, and they wait in storage with us between seasons.

Downtown’s first Saturday of December, as the City lists it

The City of Ridgefield’s Hometown Celebration page lists the event for Saturday, December 5, 2026, and says the 2026 details will be added as the date gets closer. Its listing for the 2025 edition, on Saturday, December 6, 2025, named a tree lighting at 4:30 pm in Overlook Park, over 60 local vendors, school band and choir performances, Santa visits and a hayride with several stops around town. The City’s Historic Downtown page says Overlook Park, at Pioneer and Main, “is the focus of many community events including the Farmers Market, and First Saturdays.”

The Reflector reported on December 9, 2024 that the Christmas tree at Overlook Park was lit in front of hundreds on Saturday, December 7, and that homes around Ridgefield also lit up for the holidays. The Hometown Celebration page also links a “must-see decorated homes” list on Google Maps, and the list is the City’s.

One community’s CC&Rs

The City’s Neighborhoods page says most Ridgefield neighborhoods have an HOA and that new subdivisions are required to have one. The Cedar Creek CC&Rs posted on the City’s site say the association may adopt “time, place, and manner restrictions” on displays visible from outside a dwelling. That is one community’s declaration, not a rule for other HOAs.

Circle of Trees at Overlook Park

The City’s Circle of Trees page describes a tree-decorating contest for Ridgefield businesses and organizations, sponsored by the Ridgefield Lions Club, that “features 40 uniquely decorated trees in two large circles at Overlook Park.” For 2025 the page gave December 6 to 29 and said each entrant was assigned a tree, a tree stand and one electrical outlet. The Reflector wrote on December 5, 2022 that the mayor traced the contest to 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdowns. The contest belongs to the City and the Lions Club, not to us.

What the service includes

Estimate. The free estimate happens at the property itself.

Install. Installs run through December. Clips hold everything in place, and nothing is nailed or screwed into the house.

Repair and takedown. Should any strand or section stop working mid-season, a crew returns to repair it. After the season closes, takedown is ours, and the lights are stored.

Ridgefield holiday lighting questions

Do you light businesses as well as homes?

Yes, commercial properties are part of the work too.

Do the lights become mine?

No. The lease is by the season, the lights remain ours, and they sit in our storage between seasons.

Are the crews insured?

Workers’ compensation and general liability cover them. Our crews are our own employees, and upon request a certificate of insurance is available.
