Our holiday lighting service in Leesburg covers the whole season: we hang the display, repair it if part stops working, and take it down and store it afterward, all from our Northern Virginia office in Sterling. Strands are professional-grade LED in white or multicolor, trimmed to the length of each roofline and secured with clips only, on weather-rated connections. The lights are leased for the season, they stay ours, and we store them between seasons.

Leesburg’s December calendar, as the Town lists it
The Town of Leesburg’s own Holidays in Leesburg page lists the 2026 tree lighting for Saturday, December 5 at 6:00 pm on Town Green, 25 West Market Street. The same page has the Christmas and Holiday Parade on Saturday, December 12 at 6:00 pm, with a rain date of December 13. The Town calls it the Annual Christmas and Holiday Parade, and it runs from Ida Lee Park through Historic Downtown Leesburg to the Safeway parking lot on King Street. The Holiday Fine Arts and Crafts Show is at Ida Lee Park Recreation Center on December 5 and 6. Those are the Town’s listings as we read them; the Town’s page is the place to check for changes before you plan around a date.
For a sense of how the Town has done it before: the Town’s announcement for the 2025 tree lighting listed Town Green at 6 p.m., the Jingle Jam Band, holiday characters, a photo booth and a message from the Mayor, and a West Market Street closure from Wirt to King streets during the event. The Town announced a 2025 holiday light show in the Rose Garden behind the Donaldson Log Cabin, 14 Loudoun Street SW, from December 6 through January 1, 2026, with about 2,500 lights synchronized to three holiday songs.
If your house is in the Old and Historic District
Inside the Old and Historic District, the Town’s 2009 design guidelines cover lighting, and what they cover is permanent site and building fixtures: the Board of Architectural Review looks at the design, material, finish, placement, height and intensity of light of the fixture. The lighting chapter does not mention seasonal decorations or string lights either way. If you live in the district and want an answer for your address, ask the Town’s Preservation Planner. This is the Town of Leesburg’s process, not Loudoun County’s, and these guidelines cover only that district.

What the job involves
Measure. At the estimate we walk your rooflines and gutter edges, work out how much strand each run needs, and agree where the display starts and stops.
Hang. Clips do the holding; no nail or screw goes into the house, and the connections are weather-rated. Installs are scheduled through December.
Look after it. When part of the display stops working, we return for a mid-season repair. After the holidays we take the lights down and store them.

Timing your Leesburg install
If you want the lights on for the tree lighting or the parade, book with that date in mind and tell us when you call. Later installs are welcome too, since the schedule runs through December and a house that goes up mid-month is lit for the rest of the season.
