The City’s 2026 events page lists a Holiday Market on November 21, a Very Merry Movie night on December 4, and carriage rides on December 11, 12, 18 and 19. The City’s calendar lists the market at The Event Center of Middletown, 3907 Central Avenue, from 10 am to 2 pm, and the movie night at the Middletown YMCA, 1020 Manchester Avenue, from 6 pm to 8 pm.
Travel Butler County lists a Santa Parade and Tree Lighting for November 28, 2026, at 5 pm, after which “Santa will light the Middletown Holiday Tree” at Governor’s Square. The same tourism office lists a South Main Candlelight Walk for December 6, 2026, a look inside historic homes and buildings decorated for the holidays. A Journal-News story of November 29, 2024 described the parade ending with the tree lighting in Governor’s Square on Central Avenue.
The Light Up Middletown site calls its display a “Drive – Through Fantasy Light Display” at Smith Park and says “See you in Nov 2026.” A City release of November 5, 2024 said the display was celebrating its 25th year. These come from the City, the tourism office, the organizers and a newspaper, not from us.
