Before and after holiday lighting installation by Clearly Amazing

Clearly Amazing installs holiday lights on Bethany homes and businesses, working from our Portland / Tigard office. The LED is professional-grade, in white or multicolor, and cut to the roofline. Clips hold every strand, and the connections are weather-rated. We lease the lights for each season, and they stay ours and go into our storage when the season ends.

The Bethany Village tree lighting, as its organizer lists it

Bethany Village’s own tree-lighting page lists its 2026 Tree Lighting & Holiday Market for Tuesday, December 1, from 4 pm to 8 pm at Bethany Village Plaza. It puts the countdown to the lighting between 5:15 and 5:25 pm, followed by the arrival of Santa Claus and performances from local students.

The organizer calls the ceremony annual and says it takes place on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Bethany Village’s tree-lighting page thanks school groups for their performances in 2025, and Cedar Mill News ran a notice in November 2025 listing Tuesday, December 2 as that year’s date. The 2026 date is the organizer’s listing. The tree lighting belongs to Bethany Village.

Decoration dates in one condominium association’s house rules

The house rules of the Courtyards at Springville condominium association, amended September 24, 2007, say decorations may be displayed “during the period beginning October 20th through January 15th.”

This is a posted rule for that association’s own owners, and anything adopted since 2007 is the association’s to say.

Safety wording from the fire district and the state fire marshal

Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue’s archived item “Keep the Holidays Merry,” posted December 1, 2017, says to “fasten outdoor lights securely to exterior walls, trees, or other firm supports to protect them from wind damage.” The Oregon State Fire Marshal’s December 2022 newsletter says to inspect holiday lights each year for “frayed wires, bare spots, and broken or cracked sockets.” Both are general safety wording from the sources, and neither is a rule for Bethany alone.
