Holiday Lighting in Independence, KY

Holiday lighting from our crews goes onto Independence houses and businesses. Professional-grade LED lights are used, in white or multicolor. Lights are cut to the rooflines, go up on clips alone, and use weather-rated connections. Under the lease, the lights stay ours and customers pay per season.

The Christmas Walk, as the City lists it

The City’s calendar entry for Saturday, December 6, 2025 listed the tree lighting at 5:45 pm at Courthouse Square and a lighted Christmas parade at 6:00 pm, along with a Christmas Market and strolling Santa. The City’s Winter 2024 newsletter listed the Christmas Walk for December 7, 2024. The NKyTribune reported in December 2024 that the city was hosting the Christmas Walk for the 27th year, and that the parade had grown to 45 to 50 floats plus jeeps.

The courthouse and Memorial Park

Kenton County’s 2024 announcement of a farmers market pavilion places it “neighboring the Historic Kenton County Courthouse in Independence”. The City’s Fall/Winter 2025 newsletter said there was no charge to skate at the synthetic ice rink at the Donna Yeager Amphitheater in Memorial Park during the 2025 Christmas Walk weekend. Memorial Park is at 2001 Jack Woods Parkway.

Lights through the season

Estimate. The on-site estimate is free.

Install. Installs are done through December.

Upkeep. The crew makes a repair visit when a strand or section goes dark mid-season. Takedown comes once the season ends; the lights then go into our storage.
